The short version. Your symptom log is health information and we treat it that way. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers, insurers, employers or data brokers — ever. We never see your card number. You can export everything or delete your account permanently from inside the app, and deletion means deletion.

If you are in the UK or EU and unhappy with our response, you can complain to your national supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
Emberline is an education and self-tracking tool. It does not diagnose, treat or prescribe, and nothing in the app replaces advice from your doctor. This policy is written to be read, not to hide behind — but have your own lawyer review it before you publish, and fill in the bracketed company details.
